Seller Guidelines & Policies
Welcome to North Cyprus's premier marketplace. To maintain a safe, trustworthy, and high-quality shopping experience for everyone, all sellers must adhere to the following rules.
1. Account Verification (KYC)
Trust is our #1 priority. Before you can list products on Shop TRNC Rent, you must pass our Identity Verification process.
- You must provide a clear photo of a valid Government ID or Passport.
- You must provide a clear selfie holding your ID for visual confirmation.
- Shops found using fake identities or shared accounts will be permanently banned.
2. Platform Fees & Billing
It is free to open a shop and list products. We only make money when you make money.
- Commission: A standard 10% commission is applied to every successful sale.
- Billing Limit: Because buyers pay you directly upon delivery, your platform fees will accumulate in your Seller Wallet.
- Suspension: If your outstanding commission balance reaches 500 ₺, your shop will be automatically restricted. Your listings will be hidden until you settle your balance with the Admin.
3. Prohibited Items
To comply with TRNC laws, the following items are strictly forbidden from being listed:
- Weapons, firearms, and explosives.
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or unregulated prescription medications.
- Counterfeit goods, replica designer items, or stolen property.
- Adult content or services.
4. Listing Approvals & Moderation
To ensure high-quality listings and prevent spam, all products go through a quick review process.
- Pending Status: When you add a new product or edit an existing one, its status will temporarily change to "Pending".
- Admin Review: Our moderation team will quickly review the listing to ensure images and descriptions meet our standards.
- Going Live: Once approved, your product will automatically become visible to all buyers on the marketplace.
5. Order Fulfillment & Delivery
Buyers expect fast and professional service. As a seller, you are responsible for:
- Prompt Updates: You must update the status of your orders (Confirmed, Shipped, Delivered) in your dashboard accurately.
- Quality Assurance: Items must match their description and photos exactly.
- Customer Support: If an item is out of stock, you must cancel the order and inform the buyer immediately. High cancellation rates may result in a shop review.
